Egyptian libraries damaged in recent protesting

Some of you may have heard about the actions of civilians who surrounded their local cultural institutions to save them from damage during the recent unrest in Egypt. Unfortunately for a few libraries, things got a bit out of hand and they incurred great losses, including damage to their buildings and losses of significant parts of their collections.
